Oh, thanks for the reply Erin. I’m kind of starstruck that you replied to me personally.

Grasping at straws… was it totally a coin toss? Perhaps the other Jesse isn’t an active user? Might it be possible to contact him/her? (Ah, the joys of a unisex name.)

Otherwise, is there any way of changing the user name? I tried setting up a new account, but as far as I can tell, new users don’t even get to pick names to begin with.

Very sorry, but the password reset link that was emailed to some people got smurphed up along the way. Try this:

Hi Jesse! I’m sorry you lost the username coin toss. There is another Wordnik user named “jesse” but their profile is private, which is why you can’t see it.

I know RSS feeds are on our wishlist, too — we’ll be sure to announce it here when it happens!

Hey! I had the name “jesse” on Wordie. I was very happy that I had scored that name. And now I’m … super-jesse?? I mean, I’m flattered you think I’m “super” but the old name had a certain … elegant simplicity that I miss.

Congrats on the big move! I just got back from an offline week, and missed waving goodbye to Old Wordie–but I’m looking forward to finding my way here and I hope we can all just get along. John, et al., thanks for all the hard work. Hope the shakedown cruise isn’t too rough.

I never received any mail to inform me about the changes, so I just noticed it now. Neither is my list (http://wordie.org/lists/6759) accessible nor can I log in with my wordie-username and password. Thanks for fixing it.

The gibberish and bizarre phrases have been replaced with mysterious question marks, it seems. Definitely an improvement!
