You should leave a bit of room between the Sign in button and the Search button. My fingers are too big for the current display (on my iPhone).
The layout becomes just a tad wide for the screen when you display the user’s name after a successful login. The [X] after the user’s name is off-screen and there are only ten characters in my name (including the space between first and last names).
