We’re happy to welcome Jennifer Sheldon to the Wordnik team as our newest Product Manager:
Jen loves building delightful user experiences.
Prior to joining Wordnik, she spent some time exploring the curious social behaviors of gamers by product managing social games for MTV Networks and Nickelodeon, a global social gaming platform for Digital Chocolate, and a mobile social gaming platform for GREE International (formerly Openfeint).
Prior to her explorations in social gaming, Jen worked for several years at Apple. Highlights include improving the user experience of Apple’s subscription internet services (currently known as iCloud), leading design reviews for new Keynote transition animations, producing interactive in-app tutorials for the iWork suite on iPad and iPhone, and producing interactive textbooks for iPad (iBooks 2) as well as the tool to create them (iBooks Author).
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, she earned a bit of art cred by working from concept to launch on the video game “Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.”
She studied philosophy and cognitive science at Wellesley College and new media design at both the Rhode Island School of Design and Fraunhofer Center for Research in Computer Graphics.
