I’m seeing lots and lots of cases of examples that don’t include the parent word, and lots of non-English words (which aren’t loanwords, at least yet). It seems like Wordnik is doing some serious spidering and scraping to add to the dictionary, but is pulling lots of odd data in the process…

We’re cleaning up those wrong-word examples now (one of our servers got the hiccups while loading, with non-hilarious results), and also working towards filtering out more of the non-loanword hits for non-English words. You should see those improvements in the sentences within the next couple of weeks, fingers crossed.
